Transportation vouchers

Transportation to and from treatment centers can be expensive. This gift reduces that burden.

Your Impact

Your donation helps remove the transportation barrier, ensuring women can travel to hospitals for the follow-up care they need. By supporting these costs, you enable women to access critical consultations, staging, and treatment without financial strain. Every contribution makes a tangible difference in empowering women to focus on their health and recovery.

Transportation challenges

For many women, accessing essential care doesn’t stop at cancer screening. They often face long and costly journeys to hospitals in larger cities for consultations, staging, or treatment, where specialized doctors and services are available. These transportation challenges can become a significant barrier to their health. In our program, dedicated Patient Navigators accompany women to hospitals, providing vital support and encouragement during what can be an overwhelming journey.

The Elekta Foundation Model

At the Elekta Foundation, we create scalable, sustainable cancer care models for low-resource settings. By working with governments, civil society, private partners, and academia, we address barriers like transportation, ensuring that no woman is left behind in her journey toward life-saving care.

Your Donation Makes a Difference

Every dollar or SEK you donate goes directly into our cancer care programs, making a tangible and lasting impact. We ensure that your contribution is used effectively and purposefully within our value chain, maximizing its reach and benefits. You can trust that your support helps provide life-changing care to those who need it most.
