At Elekta Foundation, we organize both internal and external events to raise awareness, build community, and fund programs that improve access to cancer care worldwide. These initiatives not only bring people together but also create opportunities to support patients, families, and healthcare providers in underserved regions.

So far, our events have included the Pink Ribbon Challenge, where Elekta employees around the globe embraced active lifestyles, boosted team spirit, and raised awareness for breast cancer. Every kilometer walked or run contributed to supporting breast cancer screening and care for women in need. We also launched Ride for Rwanda, a four-day cycling fundraiser from the UK to the Netherlands that united 39 incredible cyclists, covered more than 500 km, and raised over US$ 55,000. The funds directly support women living with advanced stages of cancer, helping to relieve physical, psychological, and social suffering.

Together, through these events and future initiatives, we are building a world where everyone has access to quality cancer care, no matter where they live.
